Responsibilities

As an Assistant Director at SouthBridge, you will be part of the leadership team and will contribute to developing, growing and managing the Kigali office.

In most assignments, your responsibilities as an Assistant Director will include:

• Collaborate in developing and executing solutions to meet client needs

• Assist in leading discussions with senior client executives

• Handle multiple assignments simultaneously

• Oversee target research

• Supervise and train staff

Applicants should have the following qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in investment banking or related field in/with Africa
• 6+ years of financial advisory/equity/finance modelling
• strong analytical and numerical skills
• passionate about M&A, capital markets and corporate strategy
• fond of Africa and emerging markets
• entrepreneurial culture
• outstanding academic background from an African or international tir-one institution (preferably a Master degree in finance or any related subject)
• fluent in French and English
• excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• strong client-oriented mindset
