Palworld Official Card Game Surpasses 3.5 Million Pre-Orders Before Launch
The Palworld Official Card Game is off to a remarkable start ahead of its July 30, 2026 release. Publisher Bushiroad announced that the game's first booster set, Dawn of Palpagos, has already surpassed 3.5 million booster pack pre-orders worldwide, making it one of the biggest trading card game launches of 2026.
The strong pre-launch demand is especially notable for a brand-new TCG entering a market dominated by long-running franchises. Bushiroad also revealed that international sales are expected to generate more than half of the game's launch revenue.
The Dawn of Palpagos set includes around 100 standard cards, over 50 parallel collector cards, and artwork featuring more than 50 Pals alongside fan-favorite human characters. Players can also choose from two beginner-friendly Trial Decks—Red/Blue and Green/Purple—available on launch day.
The card game's momentum mirrors the continued success of the Palworld video game. Since its 1.0 release, the survival title has attracted nearly 40 million players and sold more than 25 million copies, providing the TCG with a large, established fanbase from day one.
Beyond collecting, the Palworld Official Card Game offers competitive two-player gameplay centered on deploying Pals, gathering resources, and strategic battles. Bushiroad plans to support the game with tournaments and future expansions, though its long-term success will depend on sustained player interest, balanced gameplay, and a healthy competitive scene.
With millions of pre-orders already secured before release, the Palworld Official Card Game is poised for one of the strongest debuts the trading card genre has seen in recent years.
