WFUNA is a global NGO founded in 1946 that works to strengthen the United Nations and promote international cooperation through a network of more than 100 UN Associations worldwide.
2. What You Would Do (Main Responsibilities)
Communications & Marketing
You will help plan and run communications campaigns, especially for global conferences such as Model UN events.
Tasks may include:
- Creating social media posts, graphics, and short videos
- Writing email campaigns and website content
- Supporting marketing campaigns to attract participants
- Helping develop messaging and branding strategies
Content Creation & Editing
You will help produce content for different audiences:
- Write articles or promotional text
- Select images and visuals
- Ensure consistent tone and branding
- Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, etc.)
Conference Communications
You will support communication for WFUNA conferences:
- Applicant information emails
- Participant communication materials
- Messaging before and during events
3. Skills and Qualifications
Typical requirements include:
Education
- Studying or graduated in fields like:
- Communications
- Marketing
- International Relations
- Political Science
- Business
- Design
Key Skills
- Strong English writing and communication
- Ability to create digital content (graphics, videos, social media)
- Canva proficiency (required)
- Familiarity with CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Bonus Experience
- Model UN participation
- Campaign planning or communications strategy
