The EPF i-Lindung ITO Portal in Malaysia is a self-service platform provided by the Employees Provident Fund (EPF or KWSP). “ITO” stands for Insurance & Takaful Operators.
How to access the i-Lindung ITO Porta
The i-Lindung platform is integrated within the KWSP i-Akaun (Member) portal and mobile application.

- Mobile App: Download and log in to the “KWSP i-Akaun” app (available on Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei AppGallery). This is the recommended way, especially for purchasing for family members.
- Web Portal: You can also access it through the i-Akaun (Member) web portal.

Navigate to i-Lindung:
- Once logged in, look for the “i-Lindung” section or tab. In the app, it might be found under the “Withdrawal” section, then “Member Protection Plan.”

Choose a Plan:
- Select your preferred insurance/takaful protection plan from the EPF-approved Insurance & Takaful Operators (ITOs) listed on the platform. These may include providers like Prudential, Prudential BSN Takaful, FWD Takaful, and Etiqa.

Complete Application:
- Fill in the necessary details and provide consent for the premium/contribution deduction from your EPF Account. You will be directed to the specific ITO’s portal to complete the details.

Make Payment:
- Proceed with the payment, which will be deducted from your eligible EPF account. The policy/certificate documents will typically be sent to you via email by the ITO and will also be available in the “My Protection Plan” section under i-Lindung.
