`AppInit_DLLs` is a legacy infrastructure registry mechanism built into the Windows operating system layout. System administrators and monitoring agents use this registry key to programmatically inject a defined list of custom dynamic link libraries (`.dll`) into the virtual memory space of every user space process during initialization.
