Main Purpose
The internship offers an opportunity to support global advocacy and communications initiatives aimed at accelerating action on child survival, while gaining hands-on experience in policy advocacy, partnerships, and communications.
Key Responsibilities
Interns will support the advocacy team through tasks such as:
- Coordinating meetings, webinars, and workshops
- Conducting desk research and policy analysis on child survival topics
- Writing briefings, key messages, and communications materials
- Supporting report launches, data releases, and advocacy campaigns
- Developing case studies and monitoring results of advocacy activities
- Preparing presentations and pitch decks
- Assisting in knowledge sharing and internal coordination across UNICEF offices

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, or PhD studies or have graduated within the last 2 years
- Have strong research, writing, and organizational skills
- Have knowledge of topics such as nutrition, vaccines, food systems, global health, or international development (desirable)
- Have excellent academic performance
Technical Skills
Knowledge of:
- Microsoft Word
- PowerPoint
- Excel
- SharePoint
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English (required)
- Knowledge of another UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) is an asset.
