Main Purpose

The internship offers an opportunity to support global advocacy and communications initiatives aimed at accelerating action on child survival, while gaining hands-on experience in policy advocacy, partnerships, and communications.

Key Responsibilities

Interns will support the advocacy team through tasks such as:

  • Coordinating meetings, webinars, and workshops
  • Conducting desk research and policy analysis on child survival topics
  • Writing briefings, key messages, and communications materials
  • Supporting report launches, data releases, and advocacy campaigns
  • Developing case studies and monitoring results of advocacy activities
  • Preparing presentations and pitch decks
  • Assisting in knowledge sharing and internal coordination across UNICEF offices

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be currently enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, or PhD studies or have graduated within the last 2 years

  • Have knowledge of topics such as nutrition, vaccines, food systems, global health, or international development (desirable)
  • Have excellent academic performance

Language Requirements

  • Fluent in English (required)
